we inform you that in number 53 / 2019 of State Gazette were published changes in the Postal Services Law.
According to the new rules (article 20, paragraph 1, point 11), all postal operators for certain categories of users are obliged to request, process and store identification data:

three names and EGN or personal ID number for a foreigner – for individuals.

name and EIK for legal entities, as well as three names and EGN or personal ID number for a foreigner – of an authorized person.
The legislator has regulated by whom these data will be collected:
- from the senders of domestic and outgoing international shipments with cash on delivery.
- from the senders of outgoing international shipments – including small packages and parcels and without cash on delivery.
- from the recipients of money in cash by cash on delivery and postal money order.
